Yesterday, Kwantlen First Nation Band Councillor, Brandon Gabriel met with Langley City mayor Nathan Pachal to open relations between the new City government, and Kwantlen’s newly expanded council.

The two leaders discussed cooperation on the Indigenization of Langley City’s name. They spoke about the importance of working together in the best interests of Reconciliation and the partnership between the Kwantlen Nation, and the City.

Councillor Gabriel and Mayor Pachal agreed to meet again for more in depth talks.
